SERVE ON ONE OF OUR REAL TEAMS
At REAL, all individual teams exist under the banner of what we call the “Serve Team”. We are excited to be able to offer you the opportunity to use your gifts and talents to help make a difference by serving on one of our teams. You can plug into one of the following serving opportunities:
TEAMS WITH A YEAR-ROUND SCHEDULE:
Emergency Response Team (ERT): This is a group of individuals trained in emergency response that rotates each service, paying close attention to all activity, in the event of an accident or emergency.
Lawn Care: This team serves by caring for the outdoor spaces of our church. From weeding to mowing to landscaping and caring for the playground equipment, this team keeps our grounds looking sharp!
Maintenance Team: Every level of maintenance ability is welcome on this team. From odd jobs to bigger, more skill required job, this team serves by keeping our building in good shape!
First Impressions Team: This friendly team loves people and makes them feel at home here at Real. They welcome guests at all entrances with a smile, encouragement, and personal touch, so that hearts are open to hearing the Gospel message in service.
REAL Kids: This team creates an environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus. They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through biblical teaching, videos, games, small groups, and object lessons.
REAL Kids Check-in: This team welcomes families as they arrive at our Real Kids entrance, and facilitates the check-in process that ensures children are cared for effectively and efficiently.
REAL Students: Join the team that is building the next generation by each relevant message, dynamic worship experiences, relational Small Groups, and impactful retreats!
REAL Worship: Through vocals, instruments, or audio engineering, this dynamic team uses their gifts each weekend to help all guests encounter the powerful presence of the living God.
REAL Cafe: This servant-hearted team connects with people each weekend by offering a hot cup of coffee, tasty refreshments, and a warm welcome in our cafe.
The HUB: This team connects guests to the church community, by providing resources and information on all of our current events, ministry opportunities, and areas of interest.
REAL Ushers: This fun and enjoyable team seat guests, passes out service packets, collects the offering, and helps to maintain a distraction-free service environment.
Prayer Team: This team of trained intercessors covers the needs of the church in prayer, as well as personally ministering at the altars on rotation.
REAL Production Team: This team produces services through lighting, screens, and video. If you are tech-savvy, this may be the team for you!
REAL Care Team: This team cares for those in our church through encouraging cards, arranging meals for those in need, and providing support for the grieving.
REAL Outreach Team: Church is not meant to stay in the building – it is designed to go out! Join this excellent team who takes the love of Jesus outside our walls and into the community around us.
TEAMS WITH A SEASONAL SCHEDULE:
Special Events Team: Our church hosts men’s and women’s conferences, monthly meetings, and large quarterly community outreach that attract hundreds of unchurched people to REAL Church.
REAL Group Leader / Host: We believe that real life change takes place in the context of relationships. As a REAL Group Leader, you have the greatest opportunity to connect with others, fulfill your passions, develop your gifts, and live out the Great Commission by helping to disciple others.
